Vintage Range |
||||
| Since 1997 Cuba has been producing a very small number of cigars which | ||||
| represent the best they can muster. The finest leaf from exceptional | ||||
| harvests is reserved and aged to extra maturation beyond what would | ||||
| normally be acceptable for the standard export Habanos. | ||||
| In any year Habanos, S.A. choose only two or three brands for which to | ||||
| make these most special Edicion Limitada cigars. | ||||
| Being very limited in number and of the highest quality the | ||||
| Edicion Limitada cigars are quickly bought by private collectors and | ||||
| aficionados and it is rare to see even one such model on a fine dining list. | ||||
| Vinnies is very proud to offer what are generally agreed to be the | ||||
| three best models produced to date. | ||||
| Romeo Julieta Hermoso No.2 2004 | 105 | |||
| Length: 127mm Gauge: 38 | ||||
| Perhaps the most romantic of all cigars, the Romeo brand has been offering | ||||
| of the Hermoso No. 2 may qualify this to be not only the most delightful | ||||
| of Romeo y Julietas but one of the finest and most elegant of any cigar. | ||||
| The Hermoso No.2 is more refined and graceful than its larger brother the | ||||
| Hermoso No.1. There is the trademark nutty spice beloved of Romeo fans. | ||||
| Also a balance in the extra aged leaf which allows the Hermoso No.2 | ||||
| to stand even higher on the shoulders of the greatest of Romeos. | ||||
| Montecristo Series C 2003 | 125 | |||
| Length: 127mm Gauge: 38 | ||||
| Some what richer than the standard range the C is medium to full bodied. | ||||
| The flavours are classic Montecristo with cocoa, wood and caramel in fine | ||||
| balance. The aroma as with the taste is intoxicating and although this is | ||||
| not a large cigar the overall effect is one of intense satisfaction. | ||||
| The Montecristo C is arguably the finest expression of this brand to date. | ||||
| Cohiba Sublimes 2004 | 215 | |||
| Stoke | ||||
| A truly exceptional smoke. Dense, full bodied with a rich spectrum of | ||||
| flavour that includes cocoa, hazelnut, coffee bean and spice. | ||||
| The Sublimes is a powerhouse from the first puff and has a personality | ||||
| that will stay in the memory long after it has been lain to rest. | ||||
| Taking on the Sublimes is like a cigar smoking version of landing | ||||
| a big game fish. Exciting, exhilarating, exhausting. | ||||
